Customised clothing has emerged as a significant segment in the modern fashion industry, particularly among young adults who seek individuality and personal expression through apparel. This study aims to analyse the attitudes and preferences of young adults towards customised clothing in Coimbatore City. The research examines how factors such as design flexibility, fabric choice, price, comfort, fit, confidence, and social media influence affect purchasing decisions. Primary data was collected from 50 respondents using a structured questionnaire and analysed using statistical tools such as percentage analysis, chi-square test, and ANOVA. The findings reveal that young adults show a positive attitude towards customised clothing and associate it with better fit, uniqueness, and enhanced confidence. Social media plays a crucial role in creating awareness about customised clothing services. However, statistical analysis indicates no significant association between selected demographic variables and purchase behaviour. The study concludes that customised clothing is increasingly preferred as a means of self-expression and fashion identity, offering strong growth potential for designers and tailoring businesses in Coimbatore City.
