Sustainable development in Senegal's education sector is challenged by various factors including resource scarcity, inadequate infrastructure, and socio-economic disparities. The analysis will draw upon existing literature, expert interviews, and a review of national education policies, without empirical data collection. The framework identifies critical areas for improvement within Senegal's educational governance structure, emphasising the need for policy coherence across sectors and community participation in educational initiatives. Recommendations include developing comprehensive training programmes for teachers to ensure they are equipped with skills relevant to sustainable development goals, advocating for increased government funding towards education infrastructure in underserved regions, and fostering collaboration between schools, communities, and NGOs.
