AI has emerged as a transformative digital technology to reshape different practices and procedures. Recent studies document a notable publication increase in responsible AI in various domains and subject areas especially within management and governance fields. The purpose of this study is to map out the intersection between AI and governance practices. It tends to map the most influential researches in Responsible AI in the field of governance and identifies leading authors and countries by reviewing all types of publications until 2025. The method used in this review is a comprehensive bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer Software through Web of Science academic database as a source by extracting publications on the topic of Responsible AI and its integration in governance covering the whole timeframe of the database. The bibliometric analysis conducted in the present research aims to allow researchers to map the evolution of academic literature on the topic of integrating responsible AI in governance in different disciplines and identify major trends, contributions, and research gaps in this field. The analysis highlights an exponential increase (2019-2025) in research addressing responsible AI specific applications in governance practices in several domains.
