Analysis of Gender and Power Dynamics in African Political Transitions in Uganda: An African Perspective

Gender dynamics play a significant role in African political transitions, particularly in Uganda where traditional gender roles intersect with contemporary political reforms. Theoretical analysis will be employed, drawing on existing literature and conceptual frameworks from African studies and political science. Theoretical insights underscore the need for nuanced approaches to gender integration in political systems, emphasising both legislative reforms and community-level interventions. Policy recommendations include the introduction of targeted educational programmes and the establishment of monitoring mechanisms to assess gender equality progress.
