Abstract

This repository record provides an archival copy of the protologue of Latiaxis (Babelomurex) fearnleyi W. K. Emerson & D’Attilio, 1965. The article was originally published as “A New Latiaxis from the Western Pacific (Muricidae)” in The Nautilus, 78(3): 101–103, pl. 10. The taxon is currently accepted as Coralliophila fearnleyi (W. K. Emerson & D’Attilio, 1965), family Muricidae, subfamily Coralliophilinae. The record is intended to support bibliographic access, taxonomic verification, and nomenclatural traceability.
