Introduction Sexually and gender diverse (SGD) cancer survivors experience disparities in psychosocial support and mental health outcomes.Method Logistic regression of OUT: The National Cancer Survey data evaluated associations of social network support (SNS) and frequent mental distress (FMD; 14 or more poor mental health days in the last 30 days).Result Respondents (N = 2,065) who reported weaker SNS after cancer diagnosis were more likely to experience FMD (aOR = 1.69; 95%CI = 1.23–2.33). Although we found a significant association between SNS and FMD among biracial/multiracial survivors (OR = 1.70; 95%CI = 1.16–2.50), this association was no longer significant in the multivariable model. Conclusion Findings inform clinicians’ understanding of the social support needs of SGD survivors.
