This quick visual guide introduces HSG-DB (Heritage Science Group Data Bank), the semantic research environment developed by the Heritage Science Group at CNR-INO (Florence) for the management, documentation, and sharing of heritage science data. HSG-DB brings together spectra, 2D imaging, and 3D models of artworks in a single FAIR-compliant workspace, structured according to CIDOC CRM and ARTEMIS/CRMhs and supporting JSON-LD, IIIF, and a REST API. The guide walks users through the platform screen by screen in five steps: signing in and navigating the interface; creating projects and inviting collaborators; adding measurements and describing entities (artefacts, samples, materials, devices, and software) using controlled vocabularies such as Getty, PeriodO, and ROR; managing project visibility and publication in the public catalogue; and exploring datasets through integrated 2D (Mirador), 3D (3DHOP), and spectral viewers linked by spatial annotations. It is intended for researchers, conservators, art historians, and institutional partners at all access levels of the platform.
