This research aims to deeply analyze the dilemmas faced by contemporary calligraphy education and explore effective solutions. Through the comprehensive application of literature research methods, case analysis methods, etc., a comprehensive analysis is carried out from multiple levels such as the education system, society, and students. The study finds that at the level of the education system, there are problems such as unreasonable curriculum settings, shortage of teachers, and lack of teaching resources; at the social level, there are dilemmas such as public cognitive biases and changes in the status of calligraphy culture; at the student level, there are phenomena such as lack of interest and insufficient learning motivation. Based on this, at the educational system level, strategies such as optimizing curriculum settings, strengthening teacher training, and enriching teaching resources are proposed; at the social level, strategies such as enhancing public awareness and creating a calligraphy cultural atmosphere are proposed; at the student level, strategies such as innovating teaching methods and strengthening the education of cultural connotations are proposed, in order to promote the healthy development of contemporary calligraphy education and facilitate the inheritance of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
