Aim of investigation. The article is devoted to the pressing issue of fostering the creative development of youth and eliminating barriers so that no group – regardless of gender, age, place of residence, psychological or physical abilities, disability, or other characteristics – is directly or indirectly excluded from society and can fully realize its potential in Ukraine. Therefore, the aim of the research is to theoretically substantiate the specific features of organizing individual work with gifted learners, to analyze the main directions of work with philologically gifted students within the extracurricular system, and to test a working curriculum for the core academic discipline. Novelty. For the first time, the article generalizes the experience of teaching the core academic discipline «Forms and Methods of Work with Philologically Gifted Students in General Secondary Education Institutions (GSEIs).» at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University within the educational and professional program «Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature),» specialty A4 «Secondary Education,» field of knowledge A «Education.» In the course of scientific analysis of theoretical material, scientific and pedagogical methods were applied (study and analysis of psychological‑ pedagogical and scientific‑ methodological literature on the research topic; synthesis, modeling, and generalization of the obtained information in order to explore the essence and characteristics of educating philologically gifted individuals in contemporary realities). The conclusions emphasize the following: 1. In the period of Ukraine’s recovery from the devastating consequences of the Russian‑ Ukrainian war, it is of paramount importance to identify and create favorable conditions for the development of creative individuals capable of generating unconventional ideas, solving complex everyday problems effectively, thinking critically, and formulating promising tasks and algorithms for their resolution. 2. In terms of state support for talented youth, a priority task is to intensify scientific research on the education and upbringing of gifted children, to develop methods and programs for working with such children, and to expand the network of experimental institutions for their testing. One way to implement this task is the core academic discipline «Forms and Methods of Work with Philologically Gifted Students in GSEIs» for second (master’s) level higher education learners. 3. A model for studying the academic discipline has been substantiated, ensuring a close connection between student learning and future professional activity. The practical implementation of the chosen model guarantees the efficiency and effectiveness of this process. It includes five interrelated blocks: target and motivational; theoretical and methodological; content and technological; reflective and analytical; and resultative and evaluative – forming a foundation for implementing various technologies, methods, and techniques
