Social Interaction and Power in the Film Rumah Masa Depan Directed by Danial Rifki (Literary Sociology Study)

The research entitled "Social Interaction and Power in the Film Rumah Masa Depan Directed by Danial Rifki" (Literary Sociology Study) aims to describe the structural aspects and social values ​​in the form of social interaction and power in the film Rumah Masa Depan. The structural aspect is studied because it is an intrinsic element that is closely related to the elements that build literary works. This qualitative research uses a structural sociology and literary approach. The primary data used are image clips and dialogues from the film Rumah Masa Depan directed by Danial Rifki. This research was conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and completion, over a period of six months. Data analysis was also carried out in three stages: reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that there are sixty-one data points that describe structural forms (themes, characterization and personality, and plot) and forms of social interaction, including associative processes (cooperation and accommodation), dissociative processes (competition and controversy), and power (fear, love, trust) that are relevant to real life. This research can be used as a reflection for society regarding social values ​​and as teaching material for literary works in schools.
