The magnetic flux leakage test is a non-destructive testing method employed to assess the integrity of tendons, which are of crucial importance for the stability of the entire prestressed concrete structure. The detection of fractures in prestressing steel strands is subject to a large number of physical and geometric parameters. A significant proportion of these influencing factors have already been quantified in reductionist laboratory experiments. The overarching objective of the master's thesis was to investigate these factors in an application-oriented setup. This was achieved through a series of laboratory tests, which allowed for the variation of boundary conditions. The signals were evaluated using a standardised detection algorithm based on correlation analysis.
