Modern construction is actively adopting innovative technologies to optimise processes and improve the quality of the final product. One such technology is Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM is a process of creating and managing digital models that reflect the physical and functional characteristics of an object. The article considers the advantages of BIM implementation, its impact on various stages of the life cycle of construction projects, as well as the assessment of return on investment. It analyses international experience, peculiarities of planning and implementation of BIM projects.
