On the Issue of Professional Training of Pupils From Orphanages: A Look Into the Past

The article presents the publication by Liskovska L. S. This article describes an example of a practical solution to the professional training of children from orphanages in the Sumy region at the beginning of the second half of the 20th century. The author characterized the organizational work of teachers-mentors of educational workshops. The practical work of pupils and its importance for preparing for independent life are described. An assessment of industrial excursions as a component of the system of labor education and training is given.
