A multicomponent, stratified, precontact site, 17K13, is located on a peninsula at the uncture of the Hudson Bay and Churchill River in Cape Merry, Prince of Wales National Historic Site. Four lithic tools, including two quartzite tools and two limestone tools, were submitted for protein residue and/or organic residue analysis to examine them for evidence of use.
