Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the cytotoxicity, proliferation, and differentiation potential of e-MTA compared to conventional MTA on human apical papilla-derived stem cells. Methods: Two dilutions of e-MTA and ProRoot MTA were tested using MTT assay, Alamar Blue assay, and Alizarin Red S staining at 24, 48, and 72 hours. Statistical analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results: Cell viability and differentiation potential showed no significant difference between groups. However, e-MTA demonstrated significantly reduced proliferation compared to control MTA. Conclusions: e-MTA demonstrated comparable biocompatibility to conventional MTA, though reduced proliferation warrants further investigation.
