This article investigates the morphogenetic characteristics of soil cover and the state of land use in the territories of Dashkasan, Gadabay, and Goygol districts located on the northeastern slope of the Lesser Caucasus. The study identifies the characteristics of soil-landscape complexes across different altitudinal zones and analyzes the distribution of soil types and their granulometric composition. It was determined that the soil cover exhibits a differentiated character depending on landscape zones and undergoes various transformations under anthropogenic influences. The obtained results have significant scientific and practical importance for the efficient management and sustainable use of soil resources.
