Improving the level of theoretical and practical teacher training is an urgent task for the development of teacher education. Specialists who have mastered innovative technologies and teaching methods are in demand by a modern school. It is necessary to create a new educational space for the training of such teachers in pedagogical universities. This space is as close as possible to the school environment and students can practice practical professional skills in it. The purpose of the work: to develop and test methodological techniques for organizing experimental activities of students and schoolchildren in a high-tech educational environment. 70 people (first, second and third year students of Moscow Pedagogical State University) took part in the pedagogical experiment. Experimental research methods: pedagogical observation, monitoring of students' opinions. Special tasks and assignments aimed at activating independent activity, stimulating their creativity, and attracting experimentation and design skills to find solutions to tasks were developed for students of the experimental group. After studying using the methodology developed by the authors, the students of the experimental group improved the qualities important for the teacher's activity: showed organizational skills and a desire for in-depth study of the relevant subject, the need for communication, etc. It is still impossible to say about the sharp increase in students' academic performance, but the motivation to study has clearly improved. The proposed method of working with students and schoolchildren makes it possible to increase the interest of students in obtaining a teaching profession.
