Abstract

Accurate calculations of the intercombination line oscillator strengths for the Mg I isoelectronic sequence, through Ar VII, have been carried out using a semiempirical model potential method. The results differ significantly from some earlier semiempirical estimates but are in good agreement with some recent relativistic alculations.
