Renu Virmani is a cardiovascular pathologist and the President and Medical Director of CVPath Institute in Gaithersburg, Maryland, which she founded in 2005. She previously served as the Chairperson of the Department of Cardiovascular Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology from 1984 to 2004. She holds clinical professor positions in pathology at Georgetown University, University of Maryland-Baltimore, George Washington University, and Vanderbilt University.
