Kalevi Pyörälà

Kalevi Pyörälä was a Finnish cardiologist who served as Professor of Medicine at the University of Kuopio, now part of the University of Eastern Finland. He was an assistant professor at the University of Helsinki from 1969 to 1975. He contributed to major studies including the Scandinavian Simvastatin Survival Study and European guidelines on cardiovascular disease prevention.
