Stéphane Heymans is Professor of Cardiomyopathies and Head of the Centre for Heart Failure Research at the Department of Cardiology, Maastricht University Medical Centre. He also serves as Professor of Inflammation and Matrix Biology in Cardiomyopathies at the University of Leuven. His work includes leading multidisciplinary research on cardiomyopathies and establishing clinical programs for non-ischemic cardiomyopathies.
