Thomas Unger

Thomas Unger works in General Cardiology affiliated with Maastricht University.

Thomas Unger is an Emeritus Professor of Pharmacology and Experimental Medicine at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (CARIM), Maastricht University, The Netherlands. He served as the Scientific Director of CARIM from 2012 to 2017 and as Director of the Institute of Pharmacology at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin from 2001 to 2012. Prior to that, he held professorships at the University of Kiel and the University of Heidelberg in Germany.
