Fernando Lanas Zanetti, MD, is a cardiologist and Professor of Medicine at Universidad de La Frontera in Temuco, Chile. He holds an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Research Methodology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He has served as Past President of the Chilean Society of Cardiology and the Chilean Society of Hypertension, and as Past Vice President of the InterAmerican Society of Cardiology.
