Robert I. Levy (1937–2000) was an American physician and pioneer of preventive cardiology. He served as director of the NHLBI Division of Heart and Vascular Diseases from 1973 and as NHLBI director from 1975 to 1981. He later became vice president and dean of Tufts University School of Medicine and professor of medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
