Ralph L. Sacco, MD, MS (1957–2023) was an American neurologist who served as Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Chief of the Neurology Service at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was the first neurologist to serve as president of the American Heart Association and held the Olemberg Family Chair in Neurological Disorders. He led research on the global burden of stroke as part of the Global Burden of Disease Study.
