Karlman Wasserman

Karlman Wasserman (1927-2020) was Professor of Medicine at the UCLA School of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Physiology and Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center from 1967 to 1997. He later served as Professor Emeritus on Recall at UCLA and maintained affiliations with the Lundquist Institute. His research focused on cardiopulmonary exercise testing and the integration of cardiovascular, ventilatory, and metabolic responses during exercise.
