Arthur J. Moss was a cardiologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he served as the Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D. Distinguished Professor in Cardiology from 1966 until his death in 2018. He completed cardiology training at Rochester after earning an MD from Harvard Medical School in 1957 and an undergraduate degree from Yale University in 1953. His research focused on long QT syndrome, sudden cardiac death, and defibrillator therapy, including key publications such as the MADIT trial in the New England Journal of Medicine.
