Yvonne Commodore-Mensah is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean for Research at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She holds a joint appointment in the Department of Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and serves as Associate Director for Local/Global Reciprocal Innovation at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Equity. Her research focuses on reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease in African-descent populations in the United States and globally through epidemiologic and community-engagement methods.
