Lora E. Burke is Professor Emeritus of Nursing and Epidemiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Her research focuses on behavioral strategies to improve adherence to treatment regimens targeting cardiovascular disease risk reduction and long-term weight loss. She has served in leadership roles with the American Heart Association and directed the Hub for Excellence in eHealth Research at the University of Pittsburgh.
