David H. Birnie

David H. Birnie is a staff cardiac electrophysiologist, Vered Chair, and division head of Cardiology at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He is a full professor in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, at the University of Ottawa, with a cross-appointment to the School of Epidemiology and Public Health. He co-leads the cardiac sarcoidosis clinic and program and has published extensively on arrhythmias and cardiac sarcoidosis.
