Alessandro Menotti is a cardiologist and epidemiologist currently affiliated with the Italian Association for Cancer Research. He previously served as Head of the Laboratory of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome and as part-time Professor in the Division of Epidemiology at the University of Minnesota. He played a major role in the Italian component of the Seven Countries Study and received training in epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
