Madison S. Spach was a pediatric cardiologist at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He served as the founder and chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Duke and developed the pediatric cardiology fellowship training program there. His research focused on the fundamental mechanisms of cardiac dysrhythmias and he held positions as James B. Duke Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics until his death in 2025.
