James E. Tisdale

James E. Tisdale is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue University and an Adjunct Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. His research focuses on cardiovascular pharmacology, with an emphasis on prevention and management of atrial fibrillation and drug-induced arrhythmias such as QT interval prolongation and torsades de pointes. He led the development of a risk score for QT interval prolongation in hospitalized patients, known as the Tisdale score.
