Kamilu M. Karaye is Professor of Medicine at Bayero University Kano and Consultant Cardiologist at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in Kano, Nigeria. He holds a BMBCh from the University of Jos, an MSc in Cardiology from Imperial College London, and a PhD from Umeå University. He is principal investigator of the Peripartum Cardiomyopathy in Nigeria (PEACE) Registry and has led or contributed to major international studies on heart failure including INTER-CHF.
