Sharina D. Person is a Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. She is a biostatistician who previously served on the faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she directed the NHLBI-funded CARDIA Coordinating Center. Her research includes statistical modeling for large-scale cardiovascular studies such as the CARDIA study and the Jackson Heart Study.
