Sabine Steiner is a Professor of Angiology at the Medical University of Vienna and Head of the Division of Angiology at the Department of Medicine II and Vienna General Hospital. She previously served as Head of Applied Vascular Research at the Helmholtz Institute for Metabolic, Obesity and Vascular Research at the University of Leipzig. Her research encompasses endovascular treatments for peripheral arterial disease, development of animal models for restenosis, and innovative interventional techniques.
