Steffen E. Petersen

Steffen Petersen is a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary University of London and a Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, Barts Health NHS Trust. He is Director (interim) of the BHF Data Science Centre and President of the European Society of Cardiology's European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI). He holds an MBCHB and Dr med from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, a DPhil from the University of Oxford, an MPH from Harvard School of Public Health, and an MSc from the London School of Economics, and is level 3 certified for CMR.
