Antonis K. Hatzopoulos, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine and Associate Professor of Cell and Developmental Biology at Vanderbilt University. His laboratory focuses on cardiovascular progenitor cells as a model system to study heart and blood vessel development and as tools for cell therapy in adult disease models. He earned a B.S. from Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
