Resumen

ABSTRACT Mycetia malayana (G.Don) Craib (Rubiaceae) is reported here for the first time from India, based on a collection from Tripura. A detailed taxonomic description, along with photo plates and a comparison table with allied Indian species, has been provided in this current communication to aid in easy identification of this species.
