The Madras Agricultural Students' Union

We invite the attention of our readers to the two Agricultural Competitions the details of which will be found elsewhere in the issue. Both are magnificient offers and we hope that there will be a keen com- Union. Mr. Ranga Raju has always been an enthusiastic member of our Union aud the offer is just the kind to be expected from the brother Rajus. We thank them heartily for making our journal the medium for publishing the results of the interesting experiments with the 'Avasara Samba' paddy, A note on this interesting paddy from the pen of M. R. Ry., J. Cheluvaranga Raju Avergal will be found elsewhere in this issue.
