The unprecedented increase in cases of bank frauds in Nigeria has made the application of forensic audit an indispensable tool in the audit cycle. Forensic audit skills are contemporary and diagnostic audit tools that help in the detection, prevention and reduction of frauds. The main objective of the study was to explore the impact of fraud risk management on the performance of NGOs in Nigeria. Specifically, the study examines the impact of fraud risk assessment tools, fraud risk governance tools, fraud risk prevention tools, fraud risk detection tools and fraud risk management tools on the performance of NGOs in Nigeria in Nigeria.
