This article presents a study on innovation and sustainability in the textile sector. The research aimed to identify opportunities for the development of new sustainable products and services, considering three major application areas: agribusiness, built environments, and health and well-being. The study adopted a qualitative and exploratory approach, including literature review, industrial immersion, collaborative workshops, and interviews with stakeholders. The results indicate the feasibility of innovative solutions, such as technical fabrics for construction, agricultural storage products, and advanced hospital materials. It is concluded that the integration of design, technology, and sustainability can enhance the competitiveness of the textile industry in the global market.
