This study, conducted as a survey, investigates the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the Indian education system, aligning with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The research addresses the challenges of AI implementation, including concerns from educators, ethical issues like data privacy and algorithmic bias, and the necessity of balancing AI tools with human instruction. Through a descriptive research design, the study utilizes an online survey with a sample of 75 respondents, comprising students, teachers, professionals, and parents, to analyze their perceptions. The findings suggest that the majority of respondents hold positive views on AI's potential to improve personalized learning, academic performance, and student engagement. However, the paper also highlights significant concerns regarding data privacy and the potential loss of human interaction. The study concludes that successful AI integration in education requires ethical guidelines, sufficient teacher training, and a collaborative approach to ensure AI complements, rather than replaces, human educators.
