Our children are our future. We cannot ignore their safety & security. Our future will be safe if our schools are safe. The basic reason to conduct this study was to discover out the perceptions of schools heads with respect to the adjustment of security and security measures at schools. Secure & safe schools focus on external and internal threats. If students identify danger and feel fear from other students, teachers, administrators, or even the building itself, this may indicate the schools may have experienced a notable safety & security threats. This study was a quantitative to ascertain the challenges faced by the administration of schools regarding adaptation of safety& security measures. The list of schools was obtained from the website of the School Education Department of Punjab. The study was conducted in Tehsil City & Samundari of District Faisalabad. Total numbers of schools in both Tehsils are 610. All the heads (Male and Female) of schools are the population of this study. Surveysystem.com strategy was utilized to choose the sample. The sample size required was 236 (118 Rural and 118 Urban). 59 male and 59 female head teachers from each rural and urban area were chosen through simple random sampling technique. A well-constructed questionnaire was utilized to gather information. The collected reactions of respondents were analyzed with the assistance of SPSS (Statistical package for Social Sciences) software. The responses were classified in tabular form in term of Percentage, Frequency, Mean and Standard Deviation. Agenda to investigate the views of heads of educational institutions in regards to adjustment of security and safety measures. The results revealed that the average of the respondents (Head Teachers) safety/security measures security guards with weapons 1.7246 mean value. The Respondents for the most part felt that safety and security issues walk through gates resolve with 1.9788 mean value. Respondents for the most part felt that security guard verification from special branches with 1.7246 mean value. Respondents for the most part felt that security arrangements in which schools were very important with 4.8305mean value. Respondents for the most part felt that fire and workplace (ventilation and heating) with 3.0212 mean value. The average of the respondents felt that razing boundary wall up to 8 feet with 1.8263mean value. Respondents for the most part felt banker with 3.6229 mean value. The average value of the respondents felt that observational post (Ops) with 1.9703 mean value. It was suggested that government should overcome the safety and security threats. Teacher was felt that the needs of the school fulfil their tools of safety and security measures. Teacher should need to set their mind how can engage security drills with staff and children’s involved.
