We are currently witnessing a context of crisis in most healthcare systems, marked by strong population growth, increasing life expectancy, the emergence of new diseases, and the persistence of major health challenges, as well as the multiplication of conflicts and natural disasters. This is compounded by a severe shortage of human resources. Is it not in this context that interprofessional collaboration has been receiving considerable attention in recent years? Of course yes! Moreover, the World Health Organization (WHO) has strongly recommended this approach to meet the growing challenges of access to care since 2010. A little further on, scientific literature has demonstrated through several studies that interprofessional collaboration contributes to the improvement of health systems. So, all that remains is to measure the real impact of these collaborations in optimizing patient care.
