Background and Objective: Digital health technologies, which use information and communication technology (ICT) to improve access, efficiency, and quality of care, have drastically changed the way healthcare is delivered. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing Jordanians’ intention to use smartwatches and healthcare mobile applications through the lens of the technology acceptance model (TAM). Methodology: A cross‐sectional survey was conducted among 442 participants in Jordan to assess the impact of perceived usefulness (PU), perceived ease of use (PEOU), social influence (SI), and facilitating conditions (FCs) on users’ behavioral intentions (BIs). Key Findings: Findings revealed that PU and ease of use significantly influence BIs, with SI and FCs playing significant roles. Demographic factors such as gender, age, and education level further affect participants’ perceptions. These results highlight the potential of smartwatches and mobile health applications to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency, particularly during crises such as the COVID‐19 pandemic. Contributions: This study had an application of the TAM to smartwatches and healthcare mobile applications in Jordan. Also, it provides insights into the adoption of digital healthcare technologies in a developing country context. Novelty: There is a novel perspective on leveraging TAM in healthcare, paving the way for more targeted interventions to promote digital health adoption in Jordan and similar settings. Actionable Insights: To enhance adoption, healthcare practitioners should prioritize digital literacy programs, patient engagement strategies, and data security assurances. Policymakers must focus on improving digital infrastructure, implementing regulatory frameworks, and fostering public–private partnerships.
