The present study aims to highlight the importance of the development of a "death education" in the context of modern Secondary Education, and consequently, the investigation of the subject in the textbooks of History, Modern and Ancient Greek Literature, Religious Education and, finally, the submission of proposals for the utilization of the above and for the development of Cultural Programs with the contribution of Fine Arts and Letters. Given, on the one hand, the lack of relevant preparation of children from the family environment, and on the other hand the distorted image provided by the media on the subject, as well as the vulnerable psychosynthesis of adolescents and the need to provide them with increased support, school assistance is considered necessary in this regard. First, the use of the material provided by the textbooks, and further its elaboration and development through culture make possible the experiential reception of the subject by students, a fact that promotes their mental and spiritual development and maturity.
