This study aims to analyze the contribution of fishermen's economic activities which consists of income, catches and added value This study aims to determine the impact of income on fishermen's welfare and evaluate the strategic role of the blue economy approach in strengthening local economic sustainability in Lamongan Regency. This study adopted a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected from 100 respondents through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with key informants. The analysis results indicate that income has a positive and significant influence on fishermen's welfare. Conversely, catch yields show a significant negative influence. Although added value is not statistically significant, this variable has a structural role that cannot be ignored. The findings also indicate that the implementation of blue economy principles can strengthen the relationship between economic variables and fishermen's welfare in the context of sustainable local economic development.
