SEG generally follows a protocol that the three President's Page columns around this time of year are authored by the current past president (Arthur Cheng), president (John Eastwood), and president-elect (Joe Reilly) — in that order. This is aligned with the timing each year when the past president rolls off the SEG Board, the president transitions to past president, and the president-elect assumes the role of president. As well around this time we also have the results of the SEG election, and we now know the new president-elect will be Rocky Detomo. Congratulations to Rocky, who will join the Board at the end of August.
