Resumen

Pediatric glaucoma is prevented with its early diagnosis and timely management. Nowadays, aqueous aurolab drainage implant (AADI) is preferably favored over other filtration procedures due to their positive results and frequent correlation with fewer long-term, vision-threatening problems for childhood glaucoma. AADI 250 mm² (AADI, Aurolab, Madurai, India) is a new, nonvalved, cost-effective implant based on the Baerveldt glaucoma implant design (250 mm 2 ), designed specifically for the pediatric population. We presented six cases of refractory pediatric glaucoma treated with AADI (250 mm²).
